Writing the Right Way: Get Out

I saw Get Out last week and, like the plethora of critics on Rotten Tomatoes, found the film quite enjoyable. While it wasn’t particularly scary (at least not to me), the film more than made up for this with a sharp script that serves as a perfect example of how to convey a message without being sidetracked into “preaching” territory.

My Top Ten Films of 2016

So the Oscars were two nights ago and I want to congratulate La La Land Moonlight on winning Best Picture. I’ve heard nothing but good things and can’t wait to see it. That said, given that I have not seen it or many of the other Oscar Nominees from last year, my own Top Ten list looks quite different.
